Contest For National Marriage Week Day 2
Posted by Love Life on February 9th, 2010 in Events.
Okay…we are on to day 2 of the contest! Some people get so caught up in the day to day hustle of life they forget to celebrate love and romance on a regular basis. The long commute home, business, travel, the kids, whatever. It’s almost as if some people need an excuse or a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, or birthday to bestow the element of surprise on their beloved.
I can remember the days early in my own marriage when my DH used to surprise me a lot. The little things he would take time out and do, like leaving me a sweet note, and sometime big things like, one time he sent a limo to pick me up from work. Inside a note with a bouquet of fresh Stargazer Lilies (one of my fav!). He then drove me to work the next morning while I relaxed snuggled into the passenger seat gazing at him thinking, this man is mine! He still does things but they are not as plentiful as they were in years past.
With that said, here is today’s question, it’s a 2 part question: Have you ever surprised your spouse for no reason at all? If so…tell me about it?
Contest ends Sunday February 14th at 10:00 p.m. EST.
Today’s winner will receive 2 Scandle Candle travel tins one in Chocolate Dipped Strawberries and one in Cupid’s Wings. These candles are simply divine and are sponsored by Scandle Candle

Ohhh candles, how appropriate. We sort of have a thing for candles. So this reminds me of the time my hubby came home from work, to a bedroom full of candels. Tee hee…. You see, he is such a romantic, that our first time was in a candle filled room.
